Tony Drovetto here, I work with our Seahawks.com Digital team.
I run a Mailbag every week here, and this is a little extension of that.
Coming at you from the press box right now at CenturyLink Field. Where the rain has "let up" from monsoon like conditions. Still coming down pretty heavily.
Feel free to submit any questions or comments you may have, we'll get underway in about 15 minutes.
Defensive touchdowns? Definitely a chance. New Orleans likes to pass about 60 percent of the time, but they ran the ball a lot last week against the Eagles in Philly. The ball is going to be slippery, could see a few of them hit the ground.
Rookie Michael Bowie played at left guard with the No. 1 unit during practice all week. The coaching staff obviously sees something they like in him. So much so that he pushed Carpenter out of the spot.
To quote Pete Carroll, "If he's playing, he's playing." Doesn't sound like they're expecting much rust on Harvin, even though he hasn't played a game since Week 11. Expect him to be in there on kickoffs and everything.
This is Seattle, though. The only guarantee with the weather is that it changes every five minutes.
Ola! (I just googled hello in Portuguese, did I get that right?)
We give away tickets on our social media channels during the season. Be sure to follow @Seahawks on Twitter and Seahawks on Facebook.
He looked a little funny out there, huh?
Light rain at the moment. Wind looks to be in play all game, though. 25-35mph.
Sun peeking through the clouds now. See? Weather changes every five minutes here in Seattle.
You kind of get that vibe like they're playing with "house money" so to speak. I wouldn't be surprised. Seahawks will have to be on their Ps and Qs.
Last time I remember them getting tricked by something unconventional was last year against the Rams. Fake field goal for a touchdown.
We'll see. Wind could definitely be a factor on both field goals & punts. Carroll seems pretty confident in Steven Hauschka's leg, though.
How's everybody feeling? Just under an hour to kickoff...
Pete Carroll chatting with Macklemore on the sideline. Yep, it's the playoffs.
